Unlike Richard and Stina I'm not much of a landscape photographer, but the ultimate Outside for me is this: farmland as far as the eye can see with grass and wild flowers and some houses on a far horizon and some birds not far away. This is Waterland, the place where I go shoot birds in the Summer and the place where I am at my most happy.

Stina, from what you said about your house, I expected something in poor condition, but in the picture it looks comfortable and spacious. If you can make an awful house look that good, you have a bright future in real-estate photography!

The buffalo skull, I'm guessing, must be very large, larger than a cow skull. The skull photo looks fine, too. Things with strange irregular shapes are hard to pose.

Stina, your contributions are simply wonderful and I LOVE the inside-outside view of your house. I'm with OhLook in that your place looks really really good and not at all what I thought it would be after what you told us! And the shot is excellent.

Thanks, Levina and OhLook. This is the neatest/coolest room in my house. The house is VERY spacious for sure. You don't see that the chimney is starting to separate from the wall, grout is breaking up in the floor and we sprayed some type of foam along the bottom of the window to seal some gaps. This is the room bugs go to die.

Stina for me this ticks the box for both, job done

Thanks, Andy!!

Here are some examples of what I saw Outside yesterday, one sad, one beautiful.
Luckily both are warm... ;)

OldCrow, that is a beautiful macro! Or is it a micro?! :) Very well done.

Thanks Levina. I'd call it a close up -- so a micro then.

Nice outside shoy.

I agree, Stina...Levina, you don't need to apologise for your landscapes...I think it's terrific.

And I do like your house photograph Stina...no matter about the faults in the building...it looks like a great home!

Now, here's the Outside shot of that propeller tube....not very exciting or sexy, but you will all have to deal with the disappointment as best you can!

Having been in that position I sympathise with the boat owner...does history relate whether it was salvaged okay? I was lucky, the yacht I ran aground in was steel and she was dragged off with nothing more than some dents!

Ricardo222, that prop shaft is shiny and new :)
As to the sailboat. Turns out the owner had no insurance and can't afford to remove it. The Coast Guard is going to attempt to remove it today.

Here is another outside view of the same body of water from a different location, different day (taken last night) ;)

Spectacular!

That was a bummer about the sailboat! I hope the Coast Guard can refloat it without doing too much damage. I wonder what the deal is with salvage etc.

Inside and out--there's an idea worth borrowing! I didn't photograph any insides during the first week that would have outsides available now, but this shot from seven days ago includes some inside and some outside.

I like those inside and out pictures, Stina and OhLook...that looks like some serious work happening, Oh!

Here's the outside view of one of my earlier shots from last week...it was the cross section of a leek (not an onion as was suggested).
