My wife and I are selling some items on eBay. I shoot the pics in RAW using my 20D with a Sigma 24-70mm lens. When processing the pics, I adjust the white balance in Photoshop CS2. The problem comes when I convert the images to .jpg and reszie them for our eBay page. Once they are converted and resized, they are really soft. I didn't know that this was being caused by the converting and resizing until I took a test shot of a small statue in my office. The .jpg straight from the camera is sharp. The .jpg converted from RAW is sharp, but when I resize, I get a very soft image. My workflow is such that adusting the white balance is the first thing I do, then I convert the RAW file to a .jpg then I resize. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

This tutorial may help: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=61381

Just adjust the file size and dimaensions to values more appropriate to eBay.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
