Just picked up a Dell Venue tablet and had to try it out with the wifi on the 70D. Definitely a fun lens! Image hosted by forum (736107) © BlakeC [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. When I think I'm in a good position to take a shot I still have a mile to walk when I look trough the viewfinder 60d, Σ30 1.4, Σ17-50, Σ50-150 OS, Σ150-600 (C)flickr

I was primarily shooting with my 7Dc + Sigma 18-35 f/1.8, but when I saw this guy goin' ham, I was quick to reach for my 7D II on the floor in front of me (I was sitting on the floor), tilt the camera back towards me, aiming up, and rattle off a few frames and 10 FPS. Quite honestly.. I got really lucky with this one. I would love some feedback/constructive criticism though - let me hear it! If the JPG turned out that well, I'm really curious how the RAW file would clean up and how much detail I'd end up losing. HMMMM RAW would of course be better but even a jpg should not have that much noise if it is properly exposed in the first place. I used "Noiseware" from "Imagenomic" and it is just one simple click to remove the noise: https://www.imagenomic.com …ad.aspx?product=noiseware The older "Community" version is still free I believe. Quite honestly, I don't think the noise is 'that' bad, considering it was shot at ISO 10,000. I shoot in manual and check with my histogram constantly. The exposure was bang on. Ryan Mackay WEBSITE

Yes, that could be it. Pulling the shadows with a jpeg will introduce lots of noise.
