This shot in particular shows that you're getting a feel for how much fun this lens is to use. Don't forget to occasionally turn your camera 90 degrees for a different perspective with this lens. I wonder what this scene would have looked like if shot in portrait mode. I am having hard time to capture details/color in sky along with subject/earth. Sky always seems to be few stop brighter. I end up over exposing sky in order to get proper exposure with subject. Sky in your pic is less brighter than sand or beach. Canon RP with 24-240mm

Sep 05, 2016 19:40 | #567 You can try taking a few different exposures and putting them together into an HDR, or you can use ND grad filter to darken the sky. khwaja wrote in post #18117677 ![]() Very nice pic and blue sky. (2 edits in all) | Sep 06, 2016 05:46 | #570 A couple from an area known locally as The South Gare, its basically the wide river estuary of the River Tees in the North East of England This area is heavily industrialised, with a (now defunct) blast furnace and associated steel works, a nuclear power station, docks etc etc There is also a lovely bay with lots of moored fishing boats, known as Paddy's Hole, beaches, old WW2 coastal defences, a breakwater, a lighthouse, in all its a veritable goldmine for the photographer Alas its also a dumping ground for the kind of people who have no respect for others or where they live Over the years I've seen sofas, mattresses, windows, TVs and a whole assortment of filth This was one of the sights that greeted me this evening, makes my blood boil, it really does Tim
