I've been making a few more pictures from the balcony when the light looks nice ... got to do something. First one was last Sunday, second this morning.

We were feeling brave (occasionally police helicopters go past) and went up on the roof yesterday ... the array of cables and antennas and other stuff that's hidden away mostly out of sight on these roofs always interests me.

How many of those antennae are still used? I think the urban areas of the USA use cable or internet TV now.

I would say few, with many now having cable or internet TV here as well. I wouldn't rule out one or two still being connected to something though. There's a large array of cabling from various things up there, among them when cable installation provision was made for the whole building ... not everyone was connected at once, but the provision is there.

Around here, it's a mixture. You see all kinds of things on roofs. Some households even have weather stations.

Reading the room, the appetite for pictures of the tops of buildings seems ... through the roof. Just as well, because I actually made a load of similar pictures in 2017 - such as this second one - on a different roof. Apparently it isn't just me who finds these places fascinating.
