Hello everyone, a couple of my buddies from out back

This one landed very close by

Beautiful. My Cardinals are so shy I have not been so lucky but I will keep trying. Nice set and you did a great job.

Stunning portrait in your 1st image Bret, and I chuckled a little at the change in body language in the 2nd. You've obviously built a good relationship w/your Cardinals....but it only goes so far sometimes :)
Back to the 1st image....that's as good a "head shot" as I've ever seen with exquisite fine feather detail. Not surprising coming from you; and if I look really closely in the catch light I swear I see your lens just above retina center. Any closer and he might have scratched your sensor :)
