Dagger Billed - But without an ID

Help.

Photographed this guy yesterday in urban San Diego. I tried to ID it online with no luck. The bill, feet and coloring are distinctive. This guy may simply be something very common, but I don't have a clue.

Anybody have an opinion?

Very common here in Boston, Mass. Huge flocks at sunset. Common Starling. An import from England I believe.

Yep, Starlings all right. A pair released in New York's Central Park in about 1912, now have naturalized themselves through the U.S. Nice captures by the way.

Thanks for the compliment dancinec. Now that I know I don't have some ordinary crow or such, I will go back to the original images and start from scratch and improve the post processing.
