These guys don't come to my yard often. When they do, they make me drop everything and run out to the yard with the camera, sometimes even with the "wrong" lens on (I learned my lesson, e.g. a picture taken with the wrong lens is still better than no picture). However, the 300mm f/2.8 was on in both cases here ... so life was good!
