When they do, they make me drop everything and run out to the yard with the camera, sometimes even with the "wrong" lens on (I learned my lesson, e.g. a picture taken with the wrong lens is still better than no picture). However, the 300mm f/2.8 was on in both cases here ... so life was good!   #2. Downy Woodpecker  Thanks for viewing.
