For this kind of subject, because facial expression is so important, I'd prefer sharper focus, to show more detail of skin texture. The lighting also seems too dramatic (harshly one-sided), for the same reason. In other words, I want a better view of the tension and wrinkles that the man's emotion is causing. He doesn't look tight enough around the eyes and mouth.

Wider isn't the issue; just pitch the camera forward a bit next time.
