I just bought this lens yesterday, these are the first 2 shots taken with it, im pretty happy with it, first shot at 16mm, and second shot at 300mm and cropped, bird in first shot circled on pole:-D

If you want (or need) to travel a bit lighter, it is a fantastic lens.

I tried my 18-270 Tamron with the adapter on an M3, it was pretty horrendous, to the point it really couldn't focus.
