Dirty Pete is turning out to be a prolific model - at least for a hummingbird - and especially for one who looks like a middle aged prize fighter. :D Meanwhile, Pretty Pete maintains a minor - but significant - presence around the feeder. His presence keeps Dirty Pete on his toes. Back Story on Dirty Pete and Pretty Pete.

Taken before any real presence of green vegetation. This is Pretty Pete.

Dirty Pete (as are the next two). He is an eager pupil. My main BGs are evergreens (Spruce and Pine).

Taken on an overcast day. Not sure whether I like this one or the one I posted in the first thread (see back story).

Taken at sunset.

This season is turning out to be a interesting one so far. Stay tuned!

You have some very pretty flowers to lure in the Hummingbirds. Great job on all of them, but the second one is my favorite.

Extremely beautiful. Love them all.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Ian:

An excellent collection of hummers with flora variety. #3 is my favorite.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.
