This may be the most "honest" shot I've seen posted here for quite a while. This is one unhappy camper! All nicely lit shots, and you're really developing an eye for those high angle shots.

Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.

Surprising range of tones and textures here. Even just looking at this on my monitor it's got a sort of metallic glow.

I haven't got any new lenses or lighting gear to share here. But everybody loves a bargain, right?

Well about once a week I try to make a pass through a local "discount closeout" store that sells distressed and overstocked and outdated stuff. Sometimes it's slim pickings but every now and then there's something that I just can't pass up. Like this stereo video microphone with a 2005 date on the package.

I knew the 60D had a jack for an external mic and I figured for $3.00 I couldn't go too wrong.

Yeah, that's right! I only paid $3.00 for it including a foam wind guard and a lithium battery that's still holding a charge!

OK... So I don't shoot a lot of video. But from now on I'm going to look a lot more serious when I do!
