Image stabilizer really doesn't make up for apeture, but that's just my opinion. Gear- who cares?

vinmunoz Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 11, 2014 14:02 | #353 I have a friend who has the 70-200 F2.8 IS II and tried it with my A7R yesterday. Man that lens is really heavy and swore i'm not buying one. It's less than 15minutes of testing and my arms got sore already. Nice work out though. | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift

Jun 11, 2014 16:00 | #356 B&H has a 200mm f1.8 for sale, only $4k. Cheaper and faster than the 200 f2, but it weighs over 6 pounds, no IS and Canon will not fix it if it breaks. But hey, it includes free expedited shipping!
