I just canceled my pre-order of the Sigma 50 ART from B&H and just as I do that, the devil a7R pops up again for sale..

I'm thinking of just renting either the Sig 50 ART or the 50L for the June convention and kinda debate further what to buy. <<

I don't know how bad I can resist the itch! I haven't bought it yet, B&H said it'll take maybe 24 hrs to get my refund back. By then I'll just reserve the 50L for rent from BorrowLenses.

I've seen a trend with yah Vinz, do you feel like you don't need any other FLs anymore? I mean I know I'm hoarding lenses. xD

What a trade off, you can do what you want but my face has to be on your desktop for life! xD

Yah i think I'm good with the 135L as my workhorse. the zeiss 55 if i want some wide portraits.

But if i have a space, i want to exclusively shoot with the 135 as much as possible.

the 17-40 is for landscape and architectural opportunity. I even want to get rid of my 85mm now.

who needs studio lighting?

I opened up the garage. pop-up my black background and shoot. no reflectors.

no dodging and burning and no sharpening.

The zeiss is one heck of a sharp baby.

I angled my son a bit to his left to make one side of his face a bit darker.

Question on flash stuff for you guys...CJ, you might be able to help most because you have the 6d.

I want to fire my two 560iii off camera and have my 568iii in ttl on camera. Will my 603 triggers transmit the ttl info or do I have to have the trigger to the side connected by a cable. If I need a cable, what do I need in the absence of a PC sync port on the 6d? Color me confused. lol

EDIT: the 603s aren't transmitting ttl so I'll need a solution to connect the trigger to my camera. Some sort of PC sync adapter cord I am guessing.

Two weeks? I've been slammed by work for the past two months! Definitely no time for shooting here.

I have been occasionally checking in on you guys... Gave up meat for Lent and CJ's hamburger pictures were KILLING ME!!! . Keep up the good work. It's been keeping me sane the past little while.
