I caught this solitary sandpiper down on our shore this morning and the yellowlegs pair on Lake Superior last weekend. I'm thinking they are the greater yellowlegs, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I always like to photograph shorebirds as our home area is not on a major migration route for them.

Both are nice but I particularly like the 1st one for the symmetrical reflection. Good job.

Great pair of captures Al. Beautiful color on both, like the reflection best.

Thanks, Steve. I had to crawl into my blind to get the first one because of interfering branches; I was just able to avoid them.

Excellent Al. Love the reflection in the first one. The second one almost looks like the same bird twice. Very nice.
