Well, she was born second...

As I took it with a 30 years old lens, I tried to go for a somewhat vintage look without goofing up the colors, so I added a bit of vignette... how did it work out ?

Looks good, I would just desaturated it a bit and wash out the blacks if you want to make it look more vintage.

It really looks like new ektar (external link) film colors actually, except that's a very modern film.

Thanks... I liked the colors so I specifically didn't want to desaturate them.

No problem with that, Really looks like Ektar! if you ever use a film body buy that film.

You'll love it.

Thanks, I am challenged enough using digital at the moment ;)

The color is what I like about these old Minolta lenses... I was missing the warm Canon colors when I switched to Sony, it tends to be on a cool side, but then discovered all that old Minolta glass & got hooked. This photo was taken with Minolta Maxxum 35-70/4 Macro, which is the smallest AF zoom lens I've ever seen. A whopping $39 delivered, but performs better than most lenses 10x as expensive.. except for the poor flare control.

What is a vintage looks? A rather blue-green color balance? Or the fake vignetting?
