Absolutely, there is almost always one of the peeps up in the trees on guard duty, whenever a Hawk comes in, there is a certain 5 note chirp, all the other peeps bail out for the closest hiding spot. The only problem is tha We don't speak their language. I think they are far more intelligent than we give them credit for. Jmho
