:DDear 2n10,

They are all excellent, and I really like the Western Tanager but the Northern Flicker is my favorite.

When I lived in upstate NY in late March I was awakened from a sound sleep more times than I care to count by a Northern Flicker jackhammering it's way along my gutter in search of a stray bug or some other morsel.

The first time it happened I didn't know what to think but after that I kind of got used to it. I wish they came around where I live now because I miss the early morning commotion.

Regards,

Tim Murphy

Thanks Tim. I can see where that could be jarring at first.

Thank you Jeremy. They should be heading to the hills and points north soon for many.
