#1 could have been much better had it been shot a different time maybe. Also, you can try retouching it a bit in terms of boosting contrast and getting a bit of punch using colours.

LoL and thanks: #5 is the wall-hanger for me. I'm slowly filling a wall with metal print B&W images and this pic is next.

I was there about 3 weeks ago also. I went in thru Alpine and spent half a day in Terlingua. Great area.
