All these are good, but you're wrong about the best shot. It's #5, the B/W. Really good work there.

#1 could have been much better had it been shot a different time maybe. Also, you can try retouching it a bit in terms of boosting contrast and getting a bit of punch using colours.

Nice set.

I was there about 3 weeks ago also. I went in thru Alpine and spent half a day in Terlingua. Great area.
