I am wondering if any of you know how to possibly fix these photos? They some how became corrupted on the computer and this is all I have. I loaded them onto snapfish.com because I could see them in the browser but could not open them up. I hope someone can salvage these. Any try is greatly appreciated. These are some great photos and I just want to do some scrapbooking with them just to pass down the event. As long as I can print them about a wallet size I will be happy.

Hi Sue

presumably these are scans of prints, guessing from the imprinted dates, and are less than full resolution. I know how important family photos can be, expecially when they are ruined.

Number 3 is the easiest - selecting areas, and setting grey balance, bit of cloning.

Number 2 is too far gone IMO.

Number 1 more difficult - one area needed cutting & shifting, difficult to do without introducing a line. Then grey balancing and cloning errors.

Neither is perfect, but I think these would now print OK at 7" x 5 provided you aren't too picky! If you send me the full resolution files from #1 and #3, I'll have another go, no guarantee how long it would take me though.

WOW Puttics, I am so happy with those. I actually can't get the full resolution to show up on my computer because they were curropted. These were taked with the old 2MP I believe. I had just loaded them onto Snapfish hoping I could orfer them, and now thanks to you I can. I am so pleased, thanks.

She actually isn't my daughter, that is my baby sister. I was 15 when she was born. She is coming up on her 6th birthday already. I can't believe how big she is getting, learning to read and all.

I knew someone on here could do wonders. Thanks a whole lot.

No. 2 is pretty tough. I think you could get something acceptable with a lot of work, but you would have to make many selections to bring them all back without affecting other areas.

Alternatively you could try a B&W conversion which is a bit easier.
