Has anyone on here had any experience with the Wasabi Power replacement batteries for the LP-e4 Canon battery? I recently picked up a new to me 1D Markiii and usually like to have at least one spare battery. It seems Canon would like me to upgrade both battery and charger for about half of what the camera cost me.

Heya,

I have a bunch of Wasabi batteries for several different cameras. I charge them in the Canon charger and their own chargers. They hold charges great, work just as fine as my Canon batteries, and I can't tell the difference. I have like 12+ of them. Good inexpensive stuff.

Very best,

I use Wasabi batteries in my 60D and 5D Mark III. No issues here :).

I use the Wasabi LP-E6 batteries and charger for my 5DIII. They work well. Lots of Wasabi fans on this forum.

Thanks for the feedback. It's good to hear that these batteries are working well.

Use on Canon EOS, EOS-M, Powershot G series and Fujifilm no issues. Almost the same performance as originals.

I picked up 2 Wasabi LP-E6 batteries W/charger for $30 at Amazon, haven't had any issues with former 60D & current 6D. Batteries register with both cameras & no issues charging Wasabi's on a Canon charger or charging Canon's on a Wasabi charger.
Always nice having an extra charger around.

Been using them for over 3 years now, I charged them with Canon charger and they seem to last long as Canon one. I highly recommended.

I can add to the highly recommend list as well. Use them with my 6d and Pentax MX-1.

6D, 5D, 7Dii, Eos R and too many lenses, flashes and aux. gear to list!

they work great for me on the slrs, on the canon camcorder, it works but the system doesn't recognize the battery so it won't give me the amount of charge left.
