Hi,
Could someone help me to decide should I jump from Canon 40D to Canon 6D or to Sony A7?
Thanks a lot.

Same for the 6D some pros and cons to help you make your own opinion here the conclusion of each camera : Alpha 7 > http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sony-alpha-a7/19 6D > http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canon-eos-6d/25 The 6D has just as much weather sealing as the A7, it also has an OVF instead of an EVF which although EVF's are getting to be pretty good, most people still prefer the former. You can jump into a 6d system and not miss a step. The 6d is pretty much the same size and weight of a 60d. My junk

I'm a landscape shooter and almost all of my lenses are manual focus anyway so it was an easy decision to move over to the A7r. Sure the battery life isn't as good, the EVF takes some getting used to, and there aren't as many accessories as of yet, but I find the jump in image quality, dynamic ranger, and resolution more than enough reason to make the leap. But, I don't shoot anything that moves so AF is an afterthought. I also find the Metabones adapter great (though not cheap) so I could care less about native lenses. All of my lenses work just as well on the Sony as they do on my 6D. So just weigh the pros and cons and pick which one will suit your situation. For the most part you will have an excellent sensor and a traditional dslr body with those features. While the 6D has a good sensor, the lack of af points other cameras in its price range have was a real turn off in my case. Flickr
