Ian ... I have captured several series of ospreys catching fish but none of mine is half as good as what you have here! Very, very, very well done.

Shucks, I knew how they did it; I didn't need an instructional video. Those are gorgeous, Ian. You sure do live in a great location and chose a great activity for it.

Local differences I guess, Craig. Thanks.

Not sure, Linh....I would suspect they would, in a windy area. But I'm sure no expert. This spot was in quite a protected part of the river, and there was very little wind.

Thanks Carol, it's a series I have been wanting to get, and I found this guy perched in a spot where I've seen eagles before, which is what I was really looking for.

All that work for that scrawny little pisces? :)
Your images of the Osprey are wonderfully detailed Ian and the story is fun too. I really like the 1st image, but something about #4 just speaks to me. Not sure if it's the wing action you caught or the Osprey in the branches, but it's awfully sweet. Great job as always!

It may be a scrawny little pisces, but it's a speckled trout (I think)! That's one less for my own lunch. Thanks for the comments Steve.
