Well Steve lets see....Ok they all are great! I too love the little Woodpeckers. They do have character and are fun to watch even when not shooting.

Haha Craig, too kind as usual! The juvis are out now too so more fun to be had.

Awesome set and yes they are adorable! The whole series is great the last one I think is my favorite one but all images are great.
You too are very generous Carol and it's always enjoyed and appreciated.

Most excellent indeed Steve, especially the last one, beautiful light. The beak though is pretty long may be a Hairy, though I am usually wrong on any ID.
I think they are my favorites too, love those brave little ones. Great set!
Much appreciated as always my friend, but how dare you 2nd guess my ID on this hawk....uhhh, not a hawk....Oh yeah, woodpecker! Off to remedial bird ID school for both of us
Thank you much Jeff, glad you liked them.

Fantastic series, Steve! Just beautiful. I especially like the over-the-shoulder glamour pose.

Always appreciate your kind comments Vivien. I too like the last ones.

Absolutely masterful as always, Steve! Your use of light and composition are impeccable.
Careful Barry, you're going to give me "the big head"
Until then I'll thank you as always for wonderful compliments.

Very beautiful set of photographs. We get a few of them here around our feeder but I've yet to get a decent shot.
Well done.
Haha Kim, they can be skittish at times so good luck; and your generous comment is greatly appreciated.

Awesome set, Steve. 1st male(Image #3) looks like he had a rough nite. They do get into some cute or interesting poses.
LOL Rog, yes my backyard is known for it's rowdy parties! Always nice to hear from you my friend.
