the way some people on this forum are you would think if they touched a 7D or any crop body they would have an immediate allergic reaction and need to be rushed to the hospital.

I was under the impression that the 5D II and 6D use the same focus screen products
The 5D III does not have interchangeable screens ???
And the 1Dx uses this Canon product here for precision focusing in the viewfinder:

It looks similar to the older split prism screens where you would use center point to achieve peak focus then crop to recompose.

It's true! I came out in a terrible rash using crop bodies!
Pictures weren't bad though.


Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

Well, just grab the camera by the bottom from a table, don't really look at it but start mounting a lens, and you'll see.

They aren't that different in that context.
