Well work is really busy these days, but I did manage to grab the camera and get out last Sunday.

Just one lonely Barn Swallow (he stopped for only a moment).

I love seeing these birds they have such personality. Great job being able to capture them they are very fast and seldom pose for very long.

You certainly managed to catch a pretty one Leon!
I'm coming to learn that the pose in your 1st image is "classic"....mouth wide open :)
I'll also have to say what an interesting study in isolation of subject by DOF your 3rd image portrays. That one belongs in a photo text book simply for that reason. Nicely done!

Thanks for all the GREAT comments folks, I agree that these little speedsters do not still still!!

After taking a closer look at the 3rd pic, I can see that I was very close to missing my focus (based on observed DOF).
