Poyatos Goldmember  More info | May 23, 2014 10:15 | #1 I found this Cardinal Beetle a few days after the one in my recent previous post. As it was afternoon I didn't have the option of the beautiful early morning light (as in my previous post) so decided to use flash.  Hiding behind the leaf and taking up a low angle I waited for the beetle to pop his head out of the leaf and hey presto!  The beetle then turned his gaze away from me and I was lucky enough to capture the moment.  Alex
