My usual 9-hour trip along the east coast turned into 12 hours due to the royal traffic mess that stretched from Washington DC to Baltimore. I stopped by my usual "bald eagles" spot for some stress reducer. However, the eagles must have been stuck at some traffic jam somewhere so none was in sight :(. I ended up with blue herons instead. Here is one (it was a big crop due to the distance from shore. IQ suffers as a result):

I'd agree with Trevor that the soft focus nature of this image makes it looks like a watercolor painting. It's really a neat effect Linh even if unintentional. Nicely done.

Trevor and Steve ... yes, the overall softness was intentional to heighten the misty feel of the setting (also to "dissolve" some man made structure in the background).
