I will be driving from Iowa to California, then flying back. Will have limited space. I'm looking for a bag that will carry a 7D, a couple lenses, 13" Macbook Pro, necessary cables, batteries and such. Any suggestions?

Um... Hi

I use a 5.11 Tactical Side Trip briefcase and with a camera bag insert in it. So far, it carries the kit you mentioned and will fit in the overhead of a CRJ200. Another Idea I ran across on this forum is the use of a tactical messenger bag, 5.11, Blackhawk or who ever and put the camera bag insert in it.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking more for a bag I could find locally, kind of on a time frame here.

Consider getting a demo Kiboko 22L at outdoor photogear for $181 this weekend. It is a perfect travel bag, with laptop compartment and airline travel....

Think Tanks may be accessible, but not cheap.
