I'm glad these guys are back. There are a few dozen nests underneath a pedestrian overpass, at a local park. So they fly over, under and around. Can't wait till the eggs hatch. This is the best of several dozen missed attempts. SO frustrating when you look at them at home, and a shot that would have been KILLER, is just slightly off, or blurry.

I really like the second image. I know how you feel about image quality...looks great on the back of the camera, then you upload them! I'm sure these are speed demons just like the Barn and Tree varieties.

Ive been there on the slightly off shots of Swallows.
#2 and 3 look great though.
Youve done better than I have.

I also like the 2nd image very much. Nicely fanned feathers and even a catch light in the eye. I'm sure the acrobatics in your 3rd image stretched the capabilities of aiservo and AF to the max too. Maybe one day I'll find enough of these birds to allow me to become totally frustrated too :)
