Hello everyone, My backyard has been invaded by a gang of nasty Orc like Starlings. The Bluejays can come in for a quick grab and go. Had to pull all the feeders to get these recent fledged Starlings to move on. Here are a few of the Bluejays from yesterday.

Superb captures, Bret; we took down our feeder a while ago too and the fickle bluejays moved on. Well, not really, but they are keeping to themselves.

Beautiful Bluejay shots. I don't mind the Bluejays but I hate the starlings. Thankfully I do not feed from any platform feeders and just use the Squirrel Buster feeders and a hopper feeder with adjustable perches so I can set them not to allow any bird heavier than a cardinal or Grosbeak. For suet feeders I use the upside down ones and that solves the problem with the suet attracting them.

Thanks very much everyone, I feel bad after what the Jays did to Vivien have not seen that side of Jays here, the Orcs though I have a bunch of those to go through yet but my gosh, nasty little noise makers they are, they have mostly moved on at least this evening, had to put some dinner out for all my friends, I hope the Orcs stay gone.... And the Bears, lol
Thanks again!

Beautiful series of Blue Jays Bret!
Not a bad one in the bunch, but I was really taken by the 1st image. The blues are just so pure and the partial lighting w/dark background make it a real stunner my friend. Excellent, excellent work!
I do have to ask if you're feeding dental floss w/your peanuts as one poor chap seemed to be having a little difficulty with it :)
