Very cute and that is one big family. Are some of those foster chicks? Great job capturing the family.

I'm convinced they foster, in fact I have read that they will foster geese of other species. Coincidentally the other group I have been watching has what appears to be a mated pair Canada/snow geese.

When I took picture 2 and 3 I was sitting on a curb about 15 feet away from them, mom and dad goose had no problem, after about five minutes they just got up and walked away, which is when I got picture 4. Notice the little gosling giving the others an ear job as they waddled past.

These are starting to get their colors and are getting pretty big. It has been really cool watching them grow up.

Thanks, I'm going to miss these guys when they're grown, the good news is the Eagles are starting to nest here. A pair are nesting where I work so I hope to get some pics.
