The osprey must be happy, he caught a fish. He just doesn't LOOK happy. However, the fish, oddly, seems to be smiling ;) Not too bright a shot, taken a half hour ago, overcast, in the shade of some trees...

Some birds never look happy, but there might be a slight grin there. Nice shot!

Hahaha. I admire your ability to work the overcast sky and shade to come up with such a clever composition, Ian.

Nifty shot Ian.

Thanks all. I know it's not much of a shot, I just had to go out to get my mind off my missing cat... 3 days now.

Forgot about the photo when I got to the missing cat...that's awful. Hope you find your kitty Ian.

Thanks Sandy, she's been gone 3 nights now and I'm heartbroken. I'm afraid a predator of some sort has likely grabbed her. https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1379633

She is a beautiful cat Ian. One of my cats just jumped on my keyboard as I was looking at Molly's picture. My "Squeak" comes home telling some amazing stories, and I'm taking her attention just then as a good sign! Keep watching for Molly, and post missing cat pictures all over the internet.

Nice shot Ian. Fish looks surprised! I have had cats that disappeared for days also. So keep the chin up. I know its heartbreaking and hard to be positive but don't give up hope.

Thanks Sandy, everything possible has been done as far as Facebook, Vet's office, neighbours etc. but hope is fading. It went down to freezing last night, and today it's just above freezing and pouring rain.
