First attempt using a home made diffuser

Up to now all my attempts have been natural light, with the exception of a few with the pop-up flash. Obviously the 550EX in the hotshoe didn't offer much help.
These were taken using the pringles can flash diffuser option...

How did you mate your 550 to the Pringles can? My 550 EX arrived today, but it's just a few hairs large for the pringles can even when it's flattened out. I'm sure I can make some sort of step-down adapter to make it work but I'm just wondering what your solution was.
