Saturday's R/C Fun Fly.

The local club had it's annual open house & fun fly Sat and although the weather forecast was iffy things went well until about 2:00 PM when a big thunderstorm passed just to the west. The big B-17 is a new (at least to our area) foamy that's a real bargain ($310 Cdn) & it sure got a lot of attention. Price includes everything except the receiver & battery.

Good shots from your own private air show! I like that he's done a little weathering on the Typhoon. Wish that these guys would do more of that.

Thanks everyone. The pilots really like it when I get photos that look like the real deal is up there. I do my best to use the most interesting photos from each event & favor those with nice cloud formations vs just an empty blue sky. I have another event this weekend & so far the weather forecast looks good but you never know until the actual day arrives around here.
Frank, yes it was great having my own local show, which is actually walking distance from home. Unfortunately the only full scale event held locally has been cancelled for this year so R/C will be my only aviation fix. (other than enjoying all the photos shared on this forum).
