I gave it a go. Let me know if you want me to delete it. I softened the sharpening artifacts on the right side of her cheek and chin. I also corrected the orange blob of hair to match the rest of her brunette hair.

so if you don't mind me asking what method do you use to soften? I use to use a gaussian blur with a black mask and paint softness on the skin but now I have an action that has a blur layer then a texture layer. A lot of times it looks good but sometimes I tone down the texture layer. Is it best to start the edit with the softening then at the end add sharpening or clarity? In this case I added some clarity first then softened.

For your picture, I just duplicated layer, applied Gaussian blur, created a layer mask, and slowly painted (10-20% opacity) in the blur along her right cheek and chin back in.

As for the blur layer + texture layer action, I think you're referring to frequency separation. I use that too on my portraits but instead of an automatic action, I do the steps manually... that way I can control how much I Gaussian blur I apply to the "blur" layer. Some photos need more blur, other less.

I rarely use clarity on skin. Sometimes I'll use "negative" clarity to soften skin then, layer mask it, paint on the areas that need it.

I have never seen eyes like these. No work done on the eyes or skin on this one!

DT...first off I like the image. second...do you have full photoshop? Try frequency separation for you skin retouching. I just learned it and I will say that it is a revelation. If you have time check it out you'll be amazed.
