I can notice a few things I should have done differently but I welcome all critiques and comments.

Nice moody image, but a few things (if it were me):

a touch more exposure on the lit side, and some edge light on the darker side.

Id either zip up the jacket, or take it off.

Id get him to lean in a bit more. In this shot he seems aloof.

And something that I had to learn the hard way- work on the whites of those eyes. His eyes are a little on the red side. A few minutes with some cucumber slices or a nice cool damp towel over the eyes can help knock down some of that red/ pinkness. Or, just grab some clear eyes drops in a pinch. Trust me, this is something you want to deal with beforehand, as trying to fix in post can be a pain in the butt.

I like it but a tad too dark.

They look soft. Need a little sharpening.

Hmmm. Not on my screen. Especially if you look at them on the expanded view at the flickr linked site.

Yeah I also disagree, they look to be sharp enough to me.

White balance is a bit off with yellow tint to eyes and teeth but they look sharp to me also.

The ring light dosnt look bad besides the catch lights are kinda not ideal. What did you use?

Elinchrom Quadra head inside a RoundFlash ring softbox Chinese clone.

Thanks for the responses. On my screen they look sharp. I think they lose some quality from my computer to flickr to posting here.
