wallstreetoneil Goldmember  More info Post edited over 6 years ago by wallstreetoneil. | Mar 28, 2017 08:10 | #3414 For very fair skin, especially if they have been in the sun or they are hot, their skin can get a redness to it, which while 'normal' is not how they would like to be photographed. In a typical portrait 'de-saturation' process for this type of skin / condition, just 'slightly' reduce the reds and orange channels (in Lightroom) by about -14 to -10 for the Reds and -12 to -8 for the Oranges. Be very careful and do not overdue it as this type of skin has very little colour to begin with and it can very quickly look not good and that type of skin needs these colours to give it some like but just very slightly bringing it down can help a lot. Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.
