Work on that background a bit and you have a real winner.

Yeah its brand new and trying to get all the wrinkles out. I was just playing around with one flash and a white foam board to bounce it with..

Thank you

bring your subject at least 6 foot in front of the background, open up the f stop and the wrinkles will hopefully go away or be minimized.
You have a wonderful model to shoot there!

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.

very nice capture, love the colours and lighting on her face - i would personally dial back, by about 1/4, the whiteness of her eyes - everything else is great

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

You may want to check your camera. It looks like it is back focusing. his temples are in focus, not his face.

Yarek arrived from the Ukraine in New York for a symphony tour. Upon leaving the airport, half the orchestra disappeared into the city. There was never a tour, it was a scam to smuggle people into the US.

He worked hard for his citizenship, and now teaches at one of the best conservatories in the country.
