Usually I use at least 3 lights for a headshot, decided to try to make just one light work.

Was there some photoshopping applied to whiten your wife's teeth? Sorry, I had to ask because they look much brighter in some areas than others - it was the first thing I noticed. Both photos look good. Love the close-up of your daughter. Great detail!
