Cute granddaughter but the image looks a little soft. Not sure if that was the intent or OOF.

I like this photo very much as a portrait, but I don't know that it qualifies as a headshot, since we don't see the entirety (or, rather, close to the entirety) of your daughter's head. It certainly isn't a headshot in a strict sense, but others may disagree.

i concur, this thread is pretty loose with what is considered a headshot.

Good grief. I can't believe you guys are picking those nits. 'It's not really a headshot....waaaa, waaaa...' Please.

Great picture, EOS fan.

its a thread for "headshots". its not crying, its making a distinction, there are a plethora of other threads to post portraits in. When a client asks for a headshot its important for a photographer to know what one is.

Working with a new model in San Diego. She desired some pretty heavy pp for a certain look in her portfolio.

It's a bloody internet forum, Mike. I'm pretty sure everyone here know what a headshot is. It might have be different if someone posted real estate pictures here, but they didn't. They posted a picture of two heads in one frame.

All I'm saying is it just isn't that critical here. We aren't clients. We're just a bunch people looking at other's photos. I would bet that 99.999999% of the members here don't give a tinker's damn that that picture has two half heads as opposed to one whole head.

I think it's a good picture as do most others here.
