Canon sx60 hs

I am within one week of leaving for a 3 week vacation to Europe. I was ready to buy the Canon SX50 when I heard that an announcement is imminent about the 60x being released. My question is should I go ahead and buy the 50x or wait it out for the 60-x?

Have there been any rumors that the 60x will have wifi capabilities? If so, I would definitely wait.

I am in the same boat. Going to Europe soon and waiting to buy SX60. I think we are out of luck. By the time Canon announces the new camera there has to be time to ship to retailers/stores. I am trying to figure out an alternative to my heavy DSLR's. Canon is losing money every day they delay announcement bc people are in the summer/photography/tra​vel season and are laying the cash out NOW. Come on Canon let's get this SX60 in the stores.
