Was debating picking up a sigma 85. I'm going to have to wait for this one and stay with my canon 85 1.8 for now.

I'd wait given you already have the 85 1.8. Its a no brainer that Sigma will e coming out with the Art version of the 85, and given the beauties they released at 35mm and 50mm, it will no doubt e fantastic.

I'd definitely wait as well.

They already have an 85mm so it is not a question if if they will update it, it is a question of when. Since you have an 85 already, there doesn't seem to be any pressing need to upgrade, and the wait will be worth it from what we have seen with every single new Sigma lens so far.
