First visit to Rainier this season. Zeiss 21mm and 50mm. Made the mistake of wearing tennis shoes (trainers) and cotton socks...brr

They all look great, but number 3 really grabs me.

Definitely doesn't look like a tennis shoe kind of place for sure.

Truly...very sad

As I was driving out of the park, several ambulances were gathered at the entrance. Driving down by Ashford, an Airlift NW copter swooped in so low I thought it was going to land on me. It was landing at the fire station helipad. This wasn't related to the climbers but another reminder of how dangerous the park can be.
