I'm sure it wasn't easy to coax him onto that pole perch was it. ![]() The sandhill was indeed wary, but we came upon them quickly, so he didn't have a lot of time to react. There were actually three vultures in that spot, but two decamped when we pulled over. I'm glad one stayed put because the light and proximity were good. One seems seldom to find one perched.
