This little chap was hatched wild at Slimbridge, WWT(uk) which is a 1st for over 400 years!. The people at Slimbridge have done an awesome job at hand rearing the Great Crane to bring them back to the area. So as I said to have 2 chicks born wild is a HUGE step!. unfortunately one of the chicks was grabbed by a fox, so I hope the remaining little guy can make it ?.

Anyway here's a pick I took when I popped up there :D

Very nice. We have plenty of Sandhill Cranes here in Florida and the chicks look the same. The chicks are called "Colts" Don't know if it is the same there .
