The other evening I ran across this beauty in the grocery store parking lot. The sun was just setting as took these quick snaps. The photos are not the best but it is my favorite model Falcon.

Hahaa... at first I thought you meant that you saw it and started to photograph it then Igot the last one and was like "did he just open the door"

haha anyway, nice shots. Thats a nice looking car.

LOL :-) No. the owner was just leaving and opened it so that I could shoot the interior. I hope to see them at a more opportune time to get better shots plus under hood pics.

Amazing isn't it? Someone asked if it's hard to get permission from these guys to take shots of their cars! Most are mildly offended if you don't want to! Even one guy who was still in primer! :D

I used to drive a 62 falcon and as slow as the car was for some reason I just loved it! Problem was that one night the motor shorted out and drove forward into the garage and burned up like a camp fire in the engine compartment. Melted carburator and all.

Ouch!
I saw this car again today at the radiator shop. The shop owner says that the car owner also has a restored Falcon Sprint. I'll try to get hold of him for a shoot of both together.

Quite similar to the Aussie version! Although I don't recall the cup holder as a standard accessory!!!


20D, grip, kit lens:lol:, EF-S 10-22,
