I know how to change the manual setting on my flash from my camera menu. My question is if I'm shooting some architectural images and I'm using OCF with the manual settings. If i'm using the wireless capablilities of my 6D and shooting/triggering from my phone while holding a speedlight in my hand to illuminate certain areas in the room. If I want to change the manual setting on my flash say from 1/16 to 1/32 will the camera recognize this and make the change and shoot the speedlight at the new setting of 1/32 that I changed on the speedlight or do i need to make that change on my on screen camera menu for it to recognize the setting change. The reason I ask is I don't want to have to touch the camera for fear of mis aligning it for when I want to layer all my images after in photoshop for blending. Thanks

the yn622 on the camera acts as the 'master' and the camera menu settings will override whatever you set the flash settings to - in this situation, it may be better to have 603's and go all manual - you can change the flash on the fly as you go and the camera/603 won't try to override those settings.

I've forgot and tried to set the flash to a different manual setting and it goes back to whatever is set to the camera menu when using the YN622's - Please experiment and let me know if I am remembering correctly.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.

I thought you could mix the modes?

Or at least use one of the flashes as a separate group to individually control the output from the back of the camera?

Set the transmitter 622C to MIX mode: flash settings take priority.

Or, connect the flash with a pc-sync cord: simple trigger mode.

So if I'm just using one off camera flash I can still set the 622C's to mix mode and change the manual flash settings on the speedlight and the camera won't change the setting I manually changed on the speedlight? I just want to make sure that is what you're saying? Thanks
