Pc World rated the G6 as the top advanced digital camera while rating the Pro1 in fifth place. See the article here.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade or anything but computer mags don't know squat about photography so I put very little weight in their opinions. The G6 is a great camera but I would put my FZ30 against it anyday. And the Olympus SP500? Have you read Phil Askey's review and looked at the test shots? The image quality stinks.

I think, that G6 (whole G line) has the big drawback: in the viewfinder I don't see, what are the actual settings of aperture, speed etc. To see it, you have to look on the LCD screen, and there are problems to recognize it in full light in summer.
