I am taking a trip to Yellowstone in January and it is dark more then light that time of year. I will have my crop camera for wildlife, but for landscape and night photography I am thinking a full frame with good high ISO performance might be nice. I will be renting which every body I go with along with a lens or two (I do not believe any of my crop specific glass will work on full frame). What I rent will be geared to landscape and night photography.

My choices look to be 6D, 5dii or 5diii as the 1D series is out of budget for renting. What glass would you guys suggest, assuming wide and fast.

Think I may have found my own answers for the body part of the quesiton. Reading some reviews, the 6D looks to be better for high ISO night photography.

Heya,

6D and a 24-70 F2.8 or a 35 F1.4 (or 35 F2) would cover your for landscape/night.

Very best,
